How do air purifiers work?

- Mar 15, 2018 -

Air purifiers eliminates the amount of contaminants like bacteria, viruses, mold, odors and other carbon based contaminants.

How air purifier works by types:

Filters: Many air purifiers clean the air by passing it through a filter that removes the contaminants from air.

Ionizing Purifiers: This type of air purifiers use a method called corona discharge.

Ozone Generators: It works much like an ionizing purifier but it is intended to alter molecules of oxygen and chance them into ozone, a molecule ended up of three oxygen atoms.

Adsorbents: Many purifiers include an adsorbent material to take care of odors, fumes and substances in the air.

UV Light: Ultraviolet radiation renders certain micro-organisms sterile. Several air purifiers feature a UV light that cleanses the air as it passes through, removing the possible harm of floating bacteria and viruses.
